Women-led wine brand KT Winery is increasing its retail footprint this year. The company’s wine – which is currently available at Target, Total Wine, Safeway and Food City, as well as being served aboard one of the world’s largest airlines – plans to add almost 200 retail locations in Florida, Georgia, California and Pennsylvania before the end of 2025.
“KT Winery and our brand, Mom Juice, continue to grow steadily which is the manifestation of hard work and dreams but also, our plans to create an accessible product made by and for women,” said Kristin Taylor, CEO and founder, Mom Juice and KT Winery, in a news release. “When we started KT Winery, we wanted women to see themselves reflected on the shelf. We are the consumers and now, our wine is available in multiple states throughout the on planes and online. However, this is just the beginning.”
Just in Time for National Small Business Month
May is recognized as National Small Business Month – an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs to the economy. National Small Business Week is also observed the first week of May. In addition to the retail expansion, KT Winery also added two historic women founders to its board of advisors: Monique Rodriguez, founder of Mielle Organics, and Rachel Roff, founder of Urban Skin RX. Rodriguez and Roff were added to provide strategic counsel to help guide the brand’s direction, according to the winery.
KT Winery has also recently closed a six-figure investment round through WeFunder, empowering new, first-time female investors.
“We are so excited about adding more retailers and locations to the Mom Juice family,” said Macie Mincey, co-founder and head of brand at Mom Juice and KT Winery, in the release. “It is important to us as entrepreneurs and women-preneurs to exceed the goals we set for ourselves. We are able to lead other business owners by example and show them that they can do it too.”
